The earliest version of this project was a “Book of Hours,” a similar construction that focused on telling time.
After getting the light masking to work, I tried a few different materials for the spine construction
This is the finished book, at home on a shelf. While it is a little faint on camera, the brightness was set to the level of the room it was in, and was easily readable from a few feet away.
